Delete your account
Queenstown Pocket, by Tally Sphere Limited · Last updated 7 October 2026
You only have a Queenstown Pocket account if you signed in, which the app asks for when you keep a plan. You can delete it at any time, with or without the app.
In the app
- Open Queenstown Pocket, tap the Account tab, then Account.
- Tap Delete account (it shows while you are signed in), then Delete.
The account and everything listed under “What is deleted” go straight away, including the copies of your kept plans on that phone.
Without the app
Email hello@queenstownpocket.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my Queenstown Pocket account”. We reply within 5 working days to confirm the request came from you, then delete the account within 30 days of that confirmation and tell you when it is done.
What is deleted
- your account: the email address and sign-in record
- every plan you kept, including dates, party, stay, flight and rental details and the chosen days. A plan you started and shared is deleted for the people you shared it with too
- your place on plans other people shared with you, and any invites you sent
- your Trip Pass records, including a founding member pass
- when the features that use them ship: notification tokens linked to the account, and the purchase record our payments provider keeps for the account
What is kept, and for how long
- Anonymous usage counts carry a random number made by the app, not your account, and we never match them to accounts. They are deleted after 14 months.
- Queue wait reports carry a different random number and are deleted after 7 days.
- Crash reports carry no account details and are deleted by our crash reporting service (PostHog) at the end of its retention period under our plan.
- Your emails to us, including a deletion request, stay in our mailbox until they are no longer needed, and no longer than 12 months after the request.
- Backups: deleted data leaves our database backups as they expire, within 30 days.
- The website waitlist or newsletter is a separate list. Deleting the account does not remove you from it: use the unsubscribe link in any launch email or newsletter, or ask in the same message and we will delete that record too.
- Purchases: Apple or Google keep their own record of anything you buy in the app, under their own privacy policies.
The full detail is in the privacy policy.
