Coronet Peak and The Remarkables share the NZSki Superpass; Cardrona and Treble Cone share a ticket. No Orbus route climbs any ski road: the NZSki Ski Bus ($36 adult return from 9 Duke Street) and the Cardrona bus ($45, $20 in spring) are the public options, and chains are required on the access roads when signed. Which one
- Closest and night skiing: Coronet Peak, 16 km, Wednesdays and Fridays to 9pm from early July.
- Parks and chutes: The Remarkables, 24 km, open latest of the NZSki pair (11 October 2026).
- Biggest, best for beginners and families: Cardrona, 54 km over the Crown Range, 615 ha, open to 18 October 2026.
- Advanced: Treble Cone beyond Wanaka, off-piste and the longest groomers, shortest season (to 27 September 2026).
