In short: Route 6 is the Queenstown ferry: Queenstown Bay to the Hilton wharf at Kelvin Heights across Lake Wakatipu, about 14 sailings each way from 8:15am to 9:45pm on weekdays, $10 with a Bee Card or $14 by bank card.

Fare: $10 with a Bee Card, $14 by bank card. Transfers to another Orbus route are free within 45 minutes with a Bee Card. Departure times are the first stop of the main pattern; weekends and public holidays run reduced timetables, and school-day short trips are not counted here.
