About The Remarkables
The Remarkables is the south-facing field on the far side of the range that frames Queenstown Bay, reached by a ski road off SH6 south of Frankton: 24 km and about 35 minutes from the town centre. It shares the $180 NZSki Superpass with Coronet Peak, so the two are one ticket.
It is the freestyle field, with three terrain parks and the freeride chutes off the top, and it holds its season longer: in 2026 it opened on 13 June with the lifts running from 27 June after snowfall, and it closes on 11 October, a week after Coronet Peak.
The NZSki Ski Bus ($36 adult return) leaves 9 Duke Street from 7:30am; there is no Orbus service up the ski road. Drivers carry chains and fit them when signed.
